I can get 2 captains choice 5'6 rods with roller tips paired with the captains choice 4/0 reels for 100 bucks used ........ do u think this is a good deal ????? thanks

Yes, I think it is a good deal. Now that it has caught on how durable those reels are, they have went up in price, and Bass Pro no longer puts them on sale for $109 like they used too. I have had issues with those reel seats on those rods to become loose, but my rod guy pins/repairs them for $9.

Other than being built using cheap guides and put together using cardboard as shims under the reel seat and gimbal there is nothing wrong with those rods.
