I'm looking to sell the lockable, under-seat storage box from my 2006 GMC Sierra extended cap (NOT a crew cab). This is a good storage unit for things like guns, laptops, X-mas presents...i.e., anything you don't want in plain view and you'd like to have double locked in your truck. I like it but now that I have a baby/child safety seat on the bench for the next 5 or so years, it doesn't make sense for me to keep it since I can't flip the rear seat up to access it.

Asking $180 (Dealer installed option at $295, the only thing I could find that was comparable was this one by Du-Ha (Underseat Storage for GMC and Chevy Products (http://www.pickupspecialties.com/DU-HA/underseat_storage_for_gmc_chevy_products.htm)), and it doesn't have a top, the "locking version" just locks the seat down, and it doesn't bolt in - for $195 + Ship&Tax). I don't need to get rid of this, and down the road it'll be useful again so I'm not really looking to make a deal, but who knows, so make an offer.

Cash only please.

Bmail or post in this thread if interested with contact info. I'll be away Monday & Tuesday in PA for hunting so be patient if you reply immediately.

I will consider a trading the box + cash for a cap that fits my truck (and preferably is the same color).

Details and Pics as follows:

Details:
Locking top - I have the key

All mounting hardware included
-> Will need a deep well 18mm socket and a smaller (10mm I think) regular socket to install
-> Brackets mount to bolts holding rear folding seat, then unit bolts to brackets (I can help install if convenient to me)

I don't know the exact size, and while I can measure it, I'd rather not go through the trouble for a couple reasons:
1) Brackets are probably specific to GMC/Chevy, not other brands
2) If you don't care and want to try and rig it up, the deciding factor on whether it'll fit is likely the shape of the bottom where it goes over the rise in the body for the drive train, which I can't really measure. ***However, given that the one I linked to above is for a 1999-2006 (and 2007 classic) GMC/Chevy extended cap, I'm guessing mine will fit that year range as well, but again, I'm not sure about the brackets. I do know a body stile change was made in 2002.

This is a GMC brand item

Includes 2 dividers

Has some wear, needs to be wiped down inside, but in great condition overall.

I can't edit, so here is an update:

1) Will not trade for a cap...I bought one
2) More willing to deal on the price since I bought a cap and now know what I need to make back
3) Also have a bed-liner for sale for the same truck (will make new ad)

Again...I can't edit, so here is another update:

1) I don't have the bedliner any longer (sold it)
2) I'd probably take $150 for the storage box
