Any rock in the Ptank or PQ?

Fished for a while Sunday with only two bites in the PQ. Anyone having any luck? Haven't seen any reports for the Ptank or PQ lately. Heard there were fish in the PQ right after the Nor Easter. Where I'm not sure. Been in the Ptank twice since then and the fishing has been pretty dismal. Was just wondering if anyone else was having any success.

I was having pretty good luck up until the nor'easter blew in. We went out Saturday morning and my buddy caught a couple of keepers and a 13" throwback. I had a big one hit at the boat. I saw the reflection of his side, but he didn't get the hook.

I got a report from the PQ from yesterday and the score was "no runs,no hits,no errors"

Several boys went out in front the house on the little river and did not get but one.
32 bridge is still producing from a few phone calls but we have been hitting the CBBT in VA and killing them up there so have not fished much around here in a while.

Same here. Since the last storm fishing in the river is almost at a standstill for me. Been traveling up to the Bay for good fishing.

Grandfather lives on the Little River in Nixonton and no good reports are coming from there. He said a few people have been out with little to no success.

Know times are hard but if you don't mind the pull, Manns and CBBT are killing them right now. We caught way over our limit of 20 to 24 inch saterday before last at CBBT and played for hours having fun. About the same at Manns last tuesday. Long as the current is running the fish bite at Manns right now. Don't turn your nose up to the alligator bridge either. When the currient is not running at Manns it is there. You owe me one!!!!
If you want to fish Pq (Elizabeth City) and catch stripers eel the swing bridge up town. We have been meeting some friends we met in VA and having fun up there on and off the water but the guy that sells the eels here in Elizabeth City has that little 12 foot boat, already has several over 30+ from up under the bridge with eels.
The covered boat slips across from the landing on week days is also producing with eels and the new dock that boy has been working in for the past 10 years. LOL is doing the same. All with eels right now.
Thats the word I've heard and the couple I've seen over 30+

Second hand report, friend trolled the sound bridge ( Hwy 32 ) Monday and didn't have a hit!

Thanks for the info about the draw in ec liveaboard. I didn't realize anyone took the time to try eel fishing in the river. I reckon he's been catching al those fish people have been marking but can't catch. You wouldn't happen to know the name of the guy selling the eels or how i could get in touch with him, would you? I wouldn't mind trying a little eeling myself. Heard monday afternoon that there were fish schooled up on the sound side of the 17 bridge in hertford last week a couple different days.

My buddy caught a single 24" fish on Tuesday on the Pasquotank. Looks like thinks are slowly returning to normal.

Wind forecast for the weekend looks like crap. Guess I'll be on the river all weekend giving it a shot. Hopefully I'll have something to report come Monday morning....Anybody try Pasquotank light lately?

Fishtails had a great way to say it. Second hand info but spoke with someone last night that fishes here a lot, and insound is all he does, and he said the same thing has happened the past 3 to 4 years. All the fish are across the sound in Bulls bay and Columbia area cause the bait is over there.

Been trolling one rod with a sparkplug on it like you mentioned and that still is not producing. Were you pulling our line??? Maybe we need a hotter tip or NKG??
