Tuna Yesterday

We left Rudee Inlet dark and early yesterday morning and headed for the warm-water eddy SE of the Cigar. It turned out to be a real pretty day and a nice ride out. The yellowfin tuna were very active. The best of it was from the Triple 0s to the 950 in 70 to 200 fathoms of water. We stayed out a bit deeper than that and found plenty of tuna outside of the fleet. Multiple bites were the norm and we had several drifter bites while we were fighting fish. We caught our 4-person limit in the morning and left them biting. It was too early to quit fishing. The boxes were full of tuna so we really did not want to go deep-dropping. We went hunting to see if we could find any giant bluefin around. We fished the Cigar, 10 fathom hump, SE lumps and other locations without finding any signs of bluefin.
