I have this center console 89 flare I want on the water quick so to replace the floor I am going to use pressure treated 5 1/4 deck boards over the new stringers. I am not planning on keeping this boat but want something to tool around the flats with early spring the motor is good and the rest of the boat looks good. maybe i will stain them teak color:thumbup:

The floor is an integral part of the hull integrity of a boat like this. Basically the outer hull, stringers and floor make a box that reduces flexing both fore and aft and side to side of the boat.

Use plywood epoxy coat, paint Have fun.

use ply wood then take it and get it coated with line-x will last forever look great and be anti skid at a fraction of the cost of glass

You can the liner coating on yourself its very easy and save you money
