Headed out this morning hoping to continue our good luck the last 2 weeks but I had doubts after hearing of the lack of fish being caught the last few days. Started at 41A, trolled towards 42, nothing. Headed back to 1R, nothing. Then started up the Rapp and caught 3 small fish in some birds working around 4R. Continued to the #6 buoy and spent the rest day without a bite. Headed back to the Piankatank to a beautiful sunset. We put alot of miles on the boat with not much to show for it. Thats fishing!

Nice pictures. We were in the fleet betw. the 59A and Windmill. Caught 30+- fish. 2 and 3 at once about three times. There were quite a few small ones in the mix but mostly 19-21" fish with a 26 and 27". We limited in short time and then kept fishing for bigger ones for the last fish. Went to top of the cut, 59 thru the 55 and zig zaged trying to find bait and only caught 2 small ones. Eased backed West of the same area and caught 3 more 20+- inch fish. Decided to leave as we were very weary of the over the slot fish. Most were deep, 45 to 55'. Most on the 6" Storm, green w/ blue on the back. Alot on white bucktail, sashy shad combos. Larges on Blue Stretch(just like the last fishing trip). Stretch doesnt catch much but seems to bring the solo biggest to the boat. Umbrella was not too effective today. Seems Windmill to Fleets bay is the only consistent action and a over the slot is like playing the lottery. ANy big fish reports in the Bay?
