Thank you sir, may I have another? Looks like a good tide situation this weekend. Weather is supposed to be conducive. Who wants to go Sunday or Monday?

Ooh-Ooh, I can, I can. And thank you too Sir, may I have another!!!! I can go any day except Saturday. I get off at noon on Thursday and can go anytime after that. I have something similar to the battered wife syndrome, just can't get enough.

Keep posting updates. I may be able to make it this weekend. After the tales of last weekend, it will depend on whether I can get the tarpon this weekend (hopefully Saturday) for the wife. I don't believe I want to fight the shoals in the Pungo. Good luck if you go!!

Some of us have to work, ill be on stand by, but may try to get over there on friday. Now that the cat is out of the bag, you might have some company over there. You guys should adopt a buddy system.

Yeah, the cat's out of the bag...........hefty bridge toll.............rough, shark infested waters................strong currents............fish you have to release and can't even get a picuture of because you lost it after being tossed into said sharky waters.
Only a certain type of fisherman will show up for that. Don't worry about HRBT type crowds showing up!

Rick,
Actually a Pungo works fine over there. I fished over there for 8 years with a pungo, just don't let any waves break in it.
That boat is more than capable.

Thinking about leaving the CC at home and taking the yak this weekend or could trailer a mother ship (22' CC) if I have company or you guys think we'll need it. Other wise I'll leave Delaware around 10:00am to arrive on the lower ES for the afternoon evening bite on Monday and do it all over again on Tuesday.
Will be fishing out of a 14' long, blue tandem Agean.
Where can we get fresh bunker and peelers?
Has anyone ever tried any top water there? Mr. Red might just decide that a loud Smack It is just the ticket. My life would be complete if that happened.

I'm leaning more towards Concrete Ships on Sunday and then the Shoals on Monday. I like the SE wind forecast for Monday afternoon. Give a call for more details.

Monday is looking good for me as well, let me know who's going and were. Early A/M to early P/M works best for me. Looks like light east winds in the A/M going south then S/W in the afternoon with a slight chance of rain in the evening, so right now Mother Nature is on our side for an early outing as well. Martin and I are heading over Monday morning. The tide looks to be low around 9 or 10 so we needn't arrive before that. We'll want to stay through the incomming and atleast the top of the outgoing. I'd say meet at Lighthouse around 6, Bait Up, and get to the launch around 7 to ride the last of the outgoing to the shoals. Fish through the incoming and possibly into the outgoing before returning to the launch just after dark at the latest. With luck, we'll all have landed 62 inch fish by then and we can leave early. Give me a call and we'll triagulate locations and syncronise watches.
