grandview/factory point report

Fished all day from 9-4pm. Didnt find the trout but I did hook into lots of big croakers fishing the boat channel between Plum Tree Island and Grandview. I wished I could have fished the boat channel harder but there was way too much boat traffic. I was getting some great markings in over 20ft. I worked the flats and sandbars with various trout lures to no avail, though I did pull in 2 throw-back flounder. I am sure that area has lots of potential- just maybe another time.
