Hi, coming up for a weekend of fishing but we are from out of town. We are staying between the Coan River and Hull Creek out near the mouth of the Potomac. We're looking to troll some plugs/umbrella rigs but not sure exactly where to go. Can someone help us out with some information please?
Thanks.

Just troll various depths and drop offs from 40' to 70'. The key is to find the depth where bait is located and stick around that depth. I was up North by St. Georges Island a few days ago and my fish came when we were in 60ft, but this can change from day to day. Good luck out there and stay warm.

Thanks for the help. What size were you pulling in when they were biting?

Thanks I saw your post but didn't put the names together... So in your opinion would you go out the way you did on the 8th or out towards smiths point?
Sorry for all the questions - Mike

Fished the bay today between 70 and 72. We boated 13 fish with 7 of them over 40 inches. Most fish were caught off the planer lines. Good luck, tomorrow should be a little less breezy.
