I make 'em as well - 1200' - Actually two six foot sections with brass snaps - snoods every 6' - all ends burned and for snubs I use reinforced fuel line. These are what I call commercial grade since most are purchased by serious commercial and non-commercial crabbers. They do the job well and handle any normal bait including clam bags.
Packet in a new bu. basket and ready to go. I charge cost of materials plus time - $275 for a 1200' line.

Forgot to mention - the trotlines I make are made with 1/4" soft lay braid line - this is the preferred line used by crabbers since it coils/lays in your container easily.
I am also making/selling clam bags, snoods, crab nets, bushel baskets, crab bait (razor clams and chicken), SEAFOOD Signs, Live Crabs, Handmade Heavy Duty Measuring Sticks, Eel Pots, Crab Pots, Spot Traps,Floating Live Boxes and Trotline Arms.
