Still have some nice deer walking around in the day time. I cant seem to get in the right place. 7 deer of this quality on camera this year and havnt seen 1 on the hoof.

A big mature buck like that is VERY smart. The best chance you got is the first time you hunt a stand cause he knows you been there after that. They do most of their business at night but as you see, they travel during the day in the right conditions. Late season on food is good. Good luck with him.........Gary

Not sure about the second rut yet but I killed a Spike Monday Near Paris Va that was chasing does all over the place.. It seems a little early but I saw what I saw

The best time to kill that deer is on 12/11/09 at 4pm and wait 30 min or so.
