Seasons ramping down with maybe only one or two fishing days left.. Johnfish and I headed out of Broad Creek 08:00 to nice flat sea's....Headed straight for the RP and put in. Got a 22" near the bouy. Then headed north to 59A where we put another 20"in the box. We made it as far north as 2 nm from 62 then turned and broke away from the fleet and headed south of the RP and put another 21" in the box... Hit the gas and ran down to
R2 lines in and the fog rolled in... got thick as pea soup... Hope every one made it back in alright, heard a ton of radio traghic... I got real close to WM light coming in it came out of the fog and I had to do some emergency manuvers.. So much for GPS's
Anyway, made it back safe and sound once again and had a great day... Didn't mark much bait, water temps 48 deg...

I worked 41A to 1MH Tuesday afternoon. Caught 1, had 2 knockdowns on a white Tomic, and lost a real nice "over" at the boat (red and white stretch). With my net in the cabin and fishing by myself, I thought I had it pretty well tired out. But with one last head shake at the boat, it hit the side of the boat, the stretch popped out and it was gone. The fog rolled in fast and I headed for the barn. It was nice to hear guys with radar offering to help others get in. Props to you if you were one of them.

Too bad about losing that fish, I know it hurts. Landing them solo with other lines out (and wind, other boats, etc.) is tough

Most of the fun is in the hunt and the fight...although I won't deny I wish I had landed it! I was going for a grab under the gills and ended up trying to hold what felt like a greased watermelon.
