Hey guys, I'm getting into yak fishing and was wondering if there are any good stores in the VA beach area that sell yaks and other gear(paddles, life jackets and other yak related items???

Wild river outfitters is the best shop in Va Beach for paddling stuff (Wilderness Systems, Ocean kayak, Hobie, and Perception), Long bay Pointe Bait and Tackle also sells Malibu kayaks.

I am not sure how close these guys are to you, but they are great! I bought two yaks and accessories from them and saved $500 over a local store, even with shipping.

Appomattox River Company has a store in the Kiln Creek Shopping Center of Newort News...Off of Victory Blvc... but it's well hidden...tucked into a alley on the Kroger end of the Super K-Mart...lots of selection...bought my WS 140 there...good price
