BISC Members Report from Kiptopeke

Today was a little slow for all of us BUT...... it was worth the wait. After a short run North and coming up empty handed we head back to the fish traps and drifted across the shoal and whacked'em good. We had 5 fish for the day. 3 caught on cork lines and 2 on free lines. Our weighed 47.4lbs and the next was an even 38lbs. All other fish were
30lb+ fish. That was on my boat. Teacher and Adam and Dale had their limit with the biggest weighing 50.3lbs. Tumbleweed had a 48lb and a 42lb. Larry and his brother Doug had a 42lb and Steve Smith took the trophy with the biggest fish of the day at 58.1lbs thanks to Ramrod. Ramrod put Steve and JTB on the fish today and now he has possession on the TFT trophy in his room till someone beats 58.1lbs.

I found out the pattern for catching big stripers, "be standing in Ramrods boat, facing East" thanks for a great day Ramrod and Joy, from the looks of the pict where I am holding fish I need to start working out more.

We were in the same area also. TD and Bojangles boated 3 citations with the biggest being 51 lbs. We caught 4 with the biggest being a smallie... only 48 lbs...... A day on the bay with lake conditions.... doesnt happen too often. Shaky.
