and bought a yak. The last 2004 Tarpon 160 available at APC, or so I am told. Good boat at a good price...plus I like Sand!

Now...someone wanna show me how to rig this thing?

Actually, I plan on a couplathree dry runs to get used to her before I worry about any of that. But I wiill be hitting y'all up for some advice in the near future.

First up is fabricating something similar to a Yakima Drydock.

Thanks to Messrs Hoover and Beach for steering me in the right direction.

is this the old tarpon160 or the tarpon160i(?) ? Doe sit have rear hatch or a tankwell?

This baot is sweet. Stable super fast and light.

It's the old style with the hatch, but the wheels are already turning on how I can rig it to accomodate at least a crate back there.

we were having a discussion yesterday on good options for tarpon storage. we all pretty much agreed that keeping tackle in the hatch and then using strait up and down flushmounts round the hatch in place of a crate with storage holders,

Ill ofer some expertise also, if you want..Ive rigged up a few boats myself...especially wildy boats.

Wilderness Sytems makes a drop in tankwell for that boat.
