Got this guy this morning. 14inch from base to tip. Best so far. He was doging a doe like it was Oct. Just had a disk taken out my lower back and couldn't sit in the house anymore. So why not sit in a stand. Hard part was getting him out. Took little over an hour. Normal walk is 10 min. Thanks for looking. Powder

Hunting season is very unforgiving on orthopedic problems. Dragging a dead animal challenges every bone, joint and muscle in the body. Getting old/injured sucks. Congrats on a nice deer.

Great Buck!!! Hunt as long as your body will let you.Take a break during the holidays and let that back heal up.Just sit around and brag about him.

Nice stag Jay. I know what you mean about sitting around the house. I hunted one year with a cast up to my knee and still managed to get up a tree with my bow and tag an 8 point. The drag is a DRAG. Congrats...........Gary

Thanks everyone. I'm feeling it today with that drag but I think that it is well worth it when I walk out in the garage. I put a photo up of the mount. Powder

I have a club that I have been apart of for 8 years now down near Hooper's Island. Thanks for looking and they are a ton better than white Tail. I never give that meat away... Powder

Nice Stag. I have never had a opportunity to hunt on private land. We have been hunting on Assateague Island in the Chincoteague Island Federal Wildlife Refuge for about 20 years. We saw one on Refuge while bowhunting last October that was just about that big. One we saw was a perfect 4x4. Wondering if someone has got him yet. We are going back on 01/10/2009 to do the gun hunt. Maybe we will see him while there. Hope all is ok with the back problem.
