Has Anybody yakked at PLO? I never have and may be able to get down there one day next week...but have no idea where I should paddle or fish. Any suggestions would be most appreciated...

As always, I ain't lookin' for honey holes or GPS points, just point me in the right direction and I'll figure it out (or not, but that's the fun of it).

Thanks,

The point itself can be good. When in college we would wade out there and the park rangers would be waiting on the beach to write us tickets. Fun times.

On the Potomac side there are some reminants of old Ft Lincoln and other Civil War stuff. It's been so long since I've been down (up) there I couldn't tell you any landmarks other then just find the current fort and search the area.

Also, the lower county between Pt Lookout and St. Mary's River have ballast stone piles from the old sailing ships. I know several in St. Mary's River, but have only heard about the ones around Pt Lookout.

The drop off out of Cornfield Harbor used to be killer for flounder and trout.
