Rudee Inlet

You may be shocked to hear, but Rudee is chocked full of Menhaden about the size of a quarter and nickel side by side, and I have been catching Speckled Trout. I went out Friday night and caught three Speckled trout about 15 inches long on 4" shadlyn, and one on a X-rap jerk bait. Saturday afternoon I caught 3 more with 4" shadlyn. All were 15", so I'm guessing that the 80 degree water and the abundance of menhaden is drwaing them in. Met a guy Friday night a the Storm pushed me out, and he had 3 flounder over 20", and one was close to 30".

Great report, glad to hear someone is fishing. Be careful posting the location of all those Menhaden though, next thing you know the boys from Reedville will be trying to get into the inlet. [tongue]
