After a week hiatus, it was time to get back on the yak. Paddled out to Little Creek after school yesterday and found that the place hasn't changed. Fish on every drift, all flounder 16.4999999 inches. Plenty of finger mullet at the launch. 22 inch puppy drum. Horse croaker. And I saw a school of something bunched up and nosing into the current near the rocks. Bait everywhere. All fish caugth on a 1/0 Kahle with a live mullet on a Carolina rig 1/2 ounce egg sinker. Should'a had my anchor and should'a used a jig. Fished all by myself. Left just before dark.

That's depressing; I was planning on going after flounder there this weekend and it sounds like you were using the EXACT method I always use for them. I think Ray caught them all!

Was that you in a white yak by the LCAC ramps?

I think there are more flounder there, and probably more keepers, I just need to fish like Ray: anchor and drag a jig. All that paddling in the current was brutal. I have a blue and white Prowler that is actually faded to more white - could have been me.
