I have received several emails and a couple phone calls from guys that regularly post on this forum all of which have stated that they cannot log onto this site or cannot avail themselves of many of it's features.
(Early on, I was unable to begin a new post and do some other things. I still cannot do many, many of the menu items.)

I am certain you who are reading this must have noticed a substantial decline in posts since this new format was introduced. I surely have.

Here's what I would like to have happen:

If, by chance, you are reading this and you are able to reply to this post, do so with a short message like:

Everything works for me
I cant read my PMs
I can't change my password
Nothing works
I have to go potty


By doing so (responding) Brandon may be able to get a handle on just how many individuals are being affected by this new format. Even if you have nothing to say, say something.

That's a lot!!!!

I can't read PMs (Private Messages) [Emails that are sent to me only and not to everyone else via Tidal Fish.]

I have not had any problems with access to the newly revised site. I have not tried to send or receive any pm, but I did delete some old ones and everything seems ok for me. I am using internet explorer.

I'm a computer idiot - so no idea how much I'm missing out on.
I'm still bumping around TF - figuring out the new lay out.
I did have trouble with PM - seems a lot are.
I uploaded the firefox - from the link - that fixed the PM.

I think a year or so ago TF did a big change. Everyone screamed for a few days - then they figured it all out.

Try using google chrome. That is what I use and it is faster. Hope this helps.

I can see and read the posts on a couple forums, but same here on PMs cant read old ones or send them.

I can also go back in and edit it appears.

Everything works since I upgraded my browsers to IE 8 (previous versions did not work)

Firefox 3.5 also works well (both browsers can reside on the same machine)

Do have a problem with teh smiley's. I have to go back to insert one if I want to type after the smiley, watch...

Haven't tried to start a thread.
It is harder to read but that might be cause I'm not used to it yet.
It hasn't improved my spelling or typing ability.

Thanks to rj earlier comments I loaded IE8. Prior to that I could not read old bmails. I sent out two bmails but don't know if it works or not, didn't receive feedback or comments. What confused me is that I posted a dumb thread on a game and when I see the thread on the main crabbers group it shows a lock on it. I don't know what that means???

We shouldnt have to do 1 thing. When you upgrade a service you test,test,test so the customer works the same as he did on the old platform at a minimum.

Firefox works just fine on everything on the board.
IE7, which I seldom use, does not work on PM.
Why don't I use Firefox all the time then?
Well, IE7 is required for a few things that I do, and sometimes I get lazy and just open a new tab instead of opening Firefox.

In my previous post I said on my work computer was not working for my time sheet since I made
the conversion to Explorer 8.0. Turns out the change caused a pop-up window to appear. After figuring out I needed to close that window
it all worked.
