Hi Gang - There's a lot of HVLP guns in the $50 range out there. Do you have a favorite?

First project will be spraying some furniture and cabinets with water based paints. I don't need a lot of capacity. I'd like it to be very easy to clean though.

I don't need a compressor.

I build acoustic guitars and spray finish waterbased lacquers using the "Kobalt" brand HVLP gun that I bought at Lowe's. I like it - it works fine just running off of my compressor (rated at 90psi/ 5 SCFM if I remember correctly). I think it was about $100 or so. Easy cleanup in hot water and good consistent coats.

I bought a task force on clearance at lowes and it is terrible.
I have used a Vaper when spraying primer, it did a decent job. I would not use it on the finish coat.
www.eastwood.com has some decent prices.

Believe it or not Harbor Freight spray guns work well.

i too have used the Kobalt from Lowes...... worked very decent for small projects and easy to take apart and clean.

I bought the Amazon Tool Force and the results were excellent, I think. Overspray was minimal and I was able to spray in the basement without getting paint all over everything. Super easy to clean too

I thinned a bit with water and Floetrol. I'll post a photo of the cabinet when I get it put back together.

Thanks for all your comments, Guys.
