Dropped in the water at 06:30 and went south from from the boat ramp. Tide was going out and we managed to fish around Chads lake area. Caught a lot of croakers and spot. Not much else. We were fishing for trout and flounder but bait is in great abundance still. Hard to compete with the real stuff. Fished with two fellows that will be dropping by the club. One was in a nice Kevlar canoe, and the other was ina yellow Ocean yak. They kept a few nice croakers. We happened across some sea bass as we were leaving but no size to them.
