I'm thinking of heading to Montauk with the Kayak in late September and/or late October. I could tow a 22'CC up there but don't like the idea of driving through NY City with a trailer. The place looks somewhat kayak friendly and the fish are often only a few feet out of shore casting distance. Thus perfect for kayaks.
Other times the fish are right on shore amongst the crowds of fishermen. When that happens I guess I'll beach and fish from shore but would like to take a few people with me. Who's interested?
