anybody buy muskrats

My 2 boys are trapping muskrats and the guy that bought them last year has retired, dont know where to take them. Was able to sell them whole frozen. Any body out there trap ?

I can't answer your question, but when I was in high school, I trapped muskrats, skinned them and gave them to a guy. One day he asked what I was doing with the meat? I told him that the foxes were eating good. He told me to forget about the "rat" in muskrat and that the meat was some of the sweetest tasting meat around. He was right!

You can stop at the store and purchase ' The Trapper & Predator" This paper will list some drop off points and in the back will have the Maryland trapping association listed. You can contact any one from the association they would be glad to help.

Yes they take most any fur type animals.

I havent been able to find any one that would take coyote pelts the last 2 years

I know I wanted to start trapping again but couldnt find any fur buyers who will take them whole around the Hampton Roads area...I'll give Wilcox a call
