Left OI early on Friday and found a nice 68-70 temp break just south of the point. Lots of birds, whales, dolphins, etc. My son, 13 was able to land his first tuna, as well as a friend from work who also got his first tuna. First YFT bit on a Mann's Stretch 30+ and the other hit on a blue squid daisy chain on top. Caught a 12" F.A. that hit a 8" cedar plug behind a spreader bar of green squids. A bit cold, but a good day overall. Made a friend with a fellow TFer "Knot Right" at the point and buddy boated back to OI in the afternoon. I believe that Tony boated 2 tuna as well.
