Three of us fished the HRBT this afternoon and did well. A little slow in starting, but it came around. Mac, Stan, and I fished over the HRBT on the Hampton side.
Stan got a tagged croaker with a 401 area code in the phone number and a message about not removing the tag or something on the tag itself. Stan was catching sea bass, croaker, bluefish and spot.
Mac was cranking on the spot and got a nice rock fish.
I ventured on out to about 30 feet of water and caught two citation spot late in the afternoon. It was just me and a center console with just one person on board fishing.
Anyway had a great day on the water, a bunch of spot to eat and a nice rock fish about 22 inches long for dinner some other time.
