I'm looking for a place to shoot outdoors relatively inexpensively.

I am aware of the indoor ranges but they can get expensive and I prefer outdoors.

One of the state parks in Cecil County has a range but that ends up being close to an hour one way.

I guess I could head west into Baltimore County or north to PA if there are any options there.

I don't mind joining and participating in the right club.

Thanks!

There's Delta-Peachbottom just over the line in PA. Nice place, and they have a cool trail going through the woods where you can shoot your 22's at various metal targets hidden in the woods.

I think Elk Neck is the outdoor range you werereferring to in Cecil County. It's just to the south of the town of North East.
And I'm not sure how close this is to you, but it's worth a try: http://www.slcfsa.com/

I shoot at alot of different ranges, but always like shooting at the Elk Neck range during the week most times I'am the only person there, the only times it's busy is right before deer season and some times on nice weekends, other then those times it's pretty open, but an hour drive and tolls maybe to out of the way..
