I am interested in purchasing a secure and protective rack-mounted rod carrier . The Castaway looks pretty cool but I haven't found one in stock to look at up close. I was wondering how the users felt about it and if they thought it was a good buy.
Thanks,
Ben K.

Absolutly a good buy, if it held 6 rods it would be even better. I have one and am contemplating another now that I trailer my yaks. Best thing is that they can stay rigged and ready to go.

Appammatox River Company in Kiln Creek (lower end of York County) has them and has one in stock on their show room floor. Phone: 757-890-0500
It will carry two 16 foot yaks with no problem.
