Or is this flock of about 100 robins I've had in my backyard all day confused?
They must have been swept up form the south with the storm system.
They seen to be quite content flying back and forth foraging in the holly berry trees.
I had seen several before the storm but nothing like this

My High School kids think this cool being off from School, but I told them I will be crabbin' in July, while there a sittin in a classroom. Still think it's funny!!! Starting my shift at the firehouse Tuesday morning , I think I will just stay instead of going home and coming back Wednesday. Come on Spring. Capt Dale you may have to chop a hole in the ice to set eel traps this Spring. Tim

The snow on the deck is full of blood stains from shooting the heads out of birds with a 177cal pellet rifle.
Then the crows take the lifeless dead corpses for a meal.
The red tail hawk has also made a visit.
A lot of fun.
I have not seen any Robins yet.
One shot to the breast results in a puff of feathers. Then..................................
Enjoy the snow.

I have robins like you can't believe. About the last 5 days or so. The groundhog said 6 more weeks, but he lie's just like the weatherman does.
I haven't seen any snowbirds or chickadee's

Dave,
You plan on using song birds for bait in your traps this coming season?
Should net you some sweet meat. Pun intended.

AIl the berries on the top of one tree are completely gone.

Redbeard,
I was kidding. I used to do that BS though and am not proud of it.
The breasts were so hard to dress out.
Glad you eat what you kill. Thats good.
If you can make bacon wrapped Venison though like Crabby and Son (Gary) please bring it to SF if your coming. Gary is bringing V-Chili this time. WE need the BWV for the grill. Gary has us spoiled!!
Have a nice day!

Dave, I will bring the bacon wrapped venison tenderloin per your request. I just thought you guys might be getting tired of the same thing every year....Try to shoot the younger songbirds as they are much more tender:eek2:.............Gary
