Fished up river. Couple bites but didn't catch anything. Just like the last few months, water looked bad and only marked baitfish in one small area. Talked to 4 other boats that didn't do anything either. Went out just past 17 bridge and didn't see anything on the ff that way either. Lot of boats out, but didn't hear any good news. Water was 42-43 degrees.

Nice to hear someone got out to enjoy a nice day on the water. Hopefully the catchin' part of fishin' will start soon!

Went out early Sunday morning in the Chowan and caught 3. One 20 incher and two about 17. Lost a couple more. Water there looked worse, but I heard they caught right many there on Saturday. A Few people had limits on Saturday. Best I've heard in a long while. Caught all three fish in about 12 feet of water. Water temp was 39 degrees and warmed up to about 41 by 11:00 when I was heading in.
