The Richmond weather forecast for saturday is looking rainy. Is the shad fishing still good in the rain?

sure, why not? it might increase the river level (above 14th street), and change the clarity of the water, but i havent heard of anything saying that the rain would mess it up too much- watch out if youre out there- the big tourneys going on this weekend, lots of boats in a small area, none looking for a little yak

We fished this morning in the rain, had no problem catching big alewive herring.
Gave up after about 2 hours, rain was just too hard.
