Anybody ever kayak/fish there? I've heard it's a good place for croaker, should be prime-time right about now....supposed to be really scenic, too, big cliffs and nice paddling, wildlife.
Anybody ever been?

Never kayak'd there but have fished off the pier they have. Yes, now is good time for croakers. Thats all i ever caught besides a few skate. Very cool place. Huge cliffs that expose a fossilized formation. I have found shark teeth on the beach at the park. Would be an easy launch from the beach. If you want to kayak fish a good area in Westmoreland, i suggest Currioman Bay. There is a public ramp there.
