In the Richmond, VA area but travel down to Tidewater and Outer banks, often. Willing to meet up anytime.
Just starting out, though. Rented a SOT kayak last year and fished the Sound around Pea Island and loved it.
Got my Tarpon 120 rigged with a couple of flush-mounted rod holders and a removable center mounted rod holder, so I think I'm ready to get started.

Cool! A lot of Richmond guys head to Parrott Island and the Deltaville area. Lots of salt water action there, and a bit closer than the beach. Also, a lot less boat traffic. We are planning a trip for the club Sunday, if you want to join in. We have the outings section on the website... http://wkfa.org/
Most of our members live in Williamsburg/New Kent/West Point/Richmond.
