and last but not least planer rod wind on rig with a pink spoon or the matanza with a horse hoo.

For me it depends on targeted species, what else is around (mahi, wahoo, marlin, etc.). It also depends on what happens after I pull my initial spread... If they start hitting a particular bait, I am ready to change out in a hurry... Match The Hatch..

For me i like..
left teaser - squid chain with blue/white islander w/ horse ballyhoo or a 12" pakula plunger in red and yellow
left short - mold craft chugger
left long - 8in hex head or jet lure
left flat - dink naked hoo
right teaser - same as left but a red/black islander or a12" pakula plunger in green and orange
right short - sea witch with med hoo
right long - small pink or blue/green spreader bar with a islander tracker or sailure with med hoo behind
right flat - hoochie skirt over a small or med hoo
shotgun - bird to green machine or large spreader bar
if i run the planer rod then its got abig williamson tuna feather wiht horse ballyhoo

this was last summers setup, this summer im altering and running more strip baits behind my jets

Fishing outta OI this year... gonna run a whole bunch of blue/white and pink/white witches for the first spread out each morning. Will run a big ilander, big hoo on the shotgun. Planer... another ilander, red/black big hoo. If its smooth a Squidnation bar goes over the side.

Skirts, jets, islanders are all good, but during the summer, its NAKED! Naked all around except a pink squid chain on the short behind the pink teaser.
