A friend called and wanted to go fishing for a while - specifically white perch fishing. We left the ramp and paddled out to the "secret spot"...... we had it all to ourselves because even if a boat wanted to get in there they couldn't. [wink] Started fishing about 3 pm and quit at around 6 pm. We kept a bunch and threw as many back.
Biggest perch was about 11 to 12 inches and I caught the biggest croaker at 16" and the smallest striper at about 6". Willie beat me on the biggest perch.
Had a great time on the water. Not even jet skis. I hope they never show up where we were.
Got back to the ramp and some bonehead cleaned a cobia and left the head and other body parts on the ramp to let it stink the place up. Oh well, as my dad used to say....... "Some people's kids........."
