COBIA FISHING SEMINAR
VIRGINIA PENINSULA AND TIDEWATER CCA VA CHAPTER MEETING

Capt. Jorj Head on Cobia - If you’re into cobia, you can’t miss this seminar.
Capt. Head is an active member of Virginia’s Game Fish Tagging Program, and has also earned the distinction of winning both the Expert and Master Angler Awards from the Virginia Saltwater Fishing Tournament. The annual cobia run is highly anticipated. Starting in early June, large numbers of cobia migrate to and from lower Chesapeake Bay. Capt Jorj Head will discuss searching for cobia along the buoys, cruising the surface, and also by anchoring and chumming along drop offs.
Other topics will include : Menhaden Legislation and Menhaden ASMFC Reveiw; National Saltwater Angler Registry and Virginia’s Saltwater Fishing License – upside/downside; and Staked Gill Nets – a small victory.
