Has anyone installed a lowrance broadband sounder? If so what is your opinion and what display do you have?
My plotter doesnt do good in deep water and I want to know if this will help see bait/fish offshore.

i installed an HDS unit on our small CC and think it gives much better detail than my older Eagle unit.
definition between bait/fish/structure is great
we use ours in the Chesapeake so we don't get real dep water but they are rated up to 2,000'
