Looking for some areas where a rookie yakker might get some action - on vacation with my wife but she wants to sit on the beach. Any advice on where to catch a flat one or red appreciated.

RUDEE INLET, its just over the bridge from the beach to the Rudee Inlet boat ramp. Its right next to the Virginia Beach Aquarium. Have fun.

I will probably be fishing Rudee if it is windy, give me a yell, there will be someone fishing that you can tag along with.

Thanks guys - Tuesday or Wednesday look like the days - Cory I will send you my cell number in a b mail. Guess I'll have to bring my A game if I am going to try to keep up with the kayak master.

Are you kidding, its probably the second time he's fished this year. His old kayak is still breathing hard from all the work I put it through. Not to mention me stabbing it with a stakeout pole.
