looking for new spots

I am fairly new to kayaking and I am looking for some good spots to fish. I have been to rudee and lynnhaven. I can't do the really difficult trips quite yet, but hopefully one day I'll get good enough. So any spots you can help me out with would be great thanks

Im new to it as well. I have done well at New Point Comfort and I am getting ready to try Parrots Island. New Point Comfort has a light house you can easily reach but it can get rough out there on a windy day. it is at the end of Hwy 14 and there is a free launch ramp.
Parrotts Is is on the Rapp near Topping VA. Just outside the SR 3 bridge.

I have been out there twice and was fly fishing using clousers (jig/bucktail looking) and crab patterns. I have caught strippers croakers and a flounder there. I saw a red but no can do on catching it.
