I take an annual trip to DE every year for the Dover race and this year I decided I am gonna bring my boat. I'm an avid mid bay fisherman and was wondering what the fishing is going to be like that time of year and what the best way to target them is. I know where I keep my boat in the mid may it is still pretty good with a lot of big Rockfish still around. Would the same be true fishing out of Lewes? Also what other species would be around? I fish out of a 23' CC with a 200 merc so going into the ocean on a pretty day wouldn't be a problem.
