This year was starting out better then most . No stays in any hospitals. Motor on the boat running fine. Boat not needing any repairs. Great ready for the first trip out as soon as I hear blue fish are coming up the coast.:yes: Yea right. Last year the intake on truck went:eek2:. Dumped anti frezze into the oil pan so the oil pump. Pumped it all through the motor :52: But we thought we caught it in time:whistlingatu:. Changed the intake and oil. Sounded ok. That was till just a week ago. I hear this rapping coming from under the hood. Man what is that. well turns out to be a rod and with what happened last year and the motor having 195,000 miles on it.:38: Well you guesses it. Time for a new motor:censored:. As I said the fishing Gods hate me.:death:

There's never a good time for such a repair, but better now than in a few weeks.

Yea Guy you have that right. I'm letting someone else do it. My motor replacement days are over. The only motors I rebuild and replace now a days are outboards and only 2 strokes. It goes in Monday and I should have it back by Friday. That will give me time to put on the milage I need before towing my boat.
