Yellow Zonker did the trick ! Been fishing all winter in near by Pa. Creeks when this guy blind sided me. Caught and released.

That's a heck of a fish. Top dog in his neck of the woods most likely. His right pectoral fin is a little chewed up which usually indicates a hatchery fish but the rest of him looks good. Very nice fish either way. There's just something about a big, dominant brown that could show up at any time and changes your whole outlook on trout fishing when they do show up.

Definitely a very nice fish. Big browns like that show up when you least expect it. And yeah, is that new snow or old snow? I thought pretty much all the old snow was gone in PA by now. We still have a very rare drift of two of snow back in the woods thats still hanging on in N Frederick Co MD, but no general ground cover like in your first pic.
