Anyone catching any fish around the power lines on the Rappahanock river, just below tappahnock. Thanks for any help.

The river in that area is going to be looking like chocolate milk for the next 4 or 5 days. As soon as the rain water washes out the fish will start to move in. The hot weather moving in this weekend is a good sign but its going to take a little more time. If you keep heading toward the the rt 3 bridge from there look for where the water turns from the light brown wash to the blacker water. That'll be your best chance in the river. Best bet right now is a Chartruse spinner bait this weekend in a road side pond for the prespawn bass and give the river another week to wash this mess out. Probably doesn't help much but good luck!!
