OK, I couldn't find a way to make the title less gay without it being less clear. It has often occured to me, however, that a lot of us fish Fletchers alone in rented boats. $20 isn't that much to part with for a couple hours on the water, but splitting a boat frequently over the season does pay for a mid-grade light tackle real (say, the Mitchell Avocet II that I just bought specifically for shad fishing:thumbup:). More importantly, it can be a fun way to meet folks and trade techniques/lies. As I've confessed in the past, I don't fly fish (yet), but will happily share a boat with you ascot-wearing types if you're down there and are so inclined.
I'll be there tomorrow morning at 7am sharp, wearing a tan WilmerHale baseball cap and green jacket. Whether or not you want to share a boat, stop over and say hi if you see me. I'd like to meet more of the folks who frequent this board and share my obsession of tarpon-light. My only constraint is that I usually need to be back on the dock by 8:45, although you're certainly free to row back out and use the boat all day (subject to Paula's ok).
