First Time to Isle of Palms, no luck surf fishing yet. Been trying cut bait, a few nibbles but nothng yet. Any suggestions welcome....

Fished IOP with the same result few years back except it was February time frame. Suggest ya go to the IOP marina where the charters guys are at and ask'em if there's any surf action to be had? Those guys whack the reds for there customers and their own pleasure back up in the river.
Also ya might want to fish the south side of Breach Inlet or the northern end of Ft. Moultre.
