One Wednesday the 31st Dianne went in for emergency open heart surgery, she had been felling poorly for about two weeks and thought that it was her asthma acting up.
After her doctors determining that it as not asthma related she saw a cardiologist and had a stress test. She was admitted to the hospital that afternoon and the next day underwent bypass surgery on the left ventricle that feeds blood to the heart and had two valves repaired. She is now resting in the Step down unit at Christiana Care in DE. She is getting stronger every day and giving me a honey do list every time I visit; a true sign that she is getting better.
Gents, if you wife is extremely tired after doing strenuous activities or has prolonged shortness of breath have her checked. Women do not have the crushing pain in their chest or arm like men do, they can and do present much differently than men. Dianne had none of the classic symptoms no high blood pressure, cholesterol normal. Stress can be a killer, take your girl fishing.
