I'd like to try deer decoys this season and was wondering if any of you have any good strategies for this. I'd also like to find one thats portable, something other than the full body archery targets
that are available. Any thoughts?

Me too, I'd like a bedded doe decoy. Is the Montana deek the foam type? Everything I see in Cabella's are the hard body type, to big to cart about with a bow. Where do you find the Montana? T.
I used two types last year. the full bodied 3-D buck or doe; as well as the Renzo cardboard doe. The 3-D is large and is very detailed, but cumbersome. I used it and had deer approach but it put them on alert almost every time. I used the Renzo at tuckahoe last year and stopped two deer a spike buck and doe. the Doe actually approached it and settled down because of it. The renzo is very portable and quiet, The other was noisy in and setting up but looked great.

I had bucks attack my 3D target last year but only during the night. Also had big does sniff the bejesus out of it as well.
