View Full Version : Fishing Report Lower Potomac Sun. 4/11/2010

Went trolling (C/R) in the Lower Potomac. Went with friend (Bob) from the marina and used one planer board and had lines in by 8:30am. About 15 minutes later had first fish (28") on the ugly white umbrella rig I caught a fish on last week (4/1). About 30 minutes later a chartreuse tandem rig from the planer board got hit and Bob reeled in his first ever Striper (27"). about 1 hour later the chartreuse umbrella with 20oz inline off back of boat 40' caught a 33" striper that I reeled in. Trolled from VA side of #9 buoy across to the SM buoy and back to #9. Back to marina by noon since we did not have any more hits. To everyone, Good Luck next weekend.

Glad to hear of some fish being caught hopefully it will turn on for the weekend.

Talked to them this afternoon said it would be ready in the next couple of days. We will see. Im probably fishing with Jason opening day unless something crazy happens.
