Flyfishing Germany - April 17th.

Went fishing yesterday on a very nice day on this side of the pond.
Nature is in overdrive and everything turns green at a fast rate.
I noticed the first active shiners and even saw some rises in the stream.
Obviously fish had been stocked as my streamer was attacked at numerous
places that where fishless last week.
Somehow most fish eluded me and of the three trout I had only one stayed
for a picture.

Today was a even better fishing day but I stayed at home to tie flies.
Next week I am off to Denmark to fish the Baltic sea for searun browns.
I am not an eager flytyer but since bites down there are far and between
I rather trust my own flies than bought ones.

That's what so great about spring.:yes: The trees and plants are coming back to life The wild life is having off spring. The waters look renew from winter snow and spring rains. Life looks good again.:high5: "Tip toe though the tulups and the sunshine".doh All man I almost for got myself:eek2:. Weres my black cloud and lighting bolt.:thumbup:
