First Crabs of the Year

Just wanted to pass on that I had my first crabs of the year. I am a Va commercial crabber on a creek off of the lower Potomac. I set 18 pots and had 4 doz and some were nice big fat crabs, only about a third were crabs that spent the winter in the creek, 2/3 were clean, white bellies and beautiful blue claws. They tasted great. I set 20 more pots saturday. It won't be long for you Md boys.
